God has given the Church a mandate to train and equip this generation of Millennials to invade, impact and influence culture. In 1975, Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade, and Loren Cunningham, founder of Youth With A Mission, received the message that culture would be won or lost in the seven cultural mountains or spheres of influence which are: business, government, media, arts and entertainment, education, family and religion.
God identified where the battlefield was to these change agents. It has been over 40 years and we have not seen the impact of this message until NOW!
Our assignment at 7M Focus is to provide practical development tools to equip and train students with the skills needed to become change-agents to positively affect their sphere of influence. Our development tools provide the competencies for students to be equipped to step into leadership positions in these spheres with a voice to change culture.
Just recently, I was sharing the 7M Focus vision and cause with leaders in Buffalo, NY. God is moving in that region with city restoration including $20 billion dollars in new construction through Christian leadership and much prayer. However, I asked the question, who in the territory is offering the practical training to equip students to be prepared to secure these jobs in the mountains of business, government, education, media, arts and entertainment? They need to learn how to bring Kingdom reformation along with city restoration.
